Hilton Park Revitalisation

Great news to wrap up the year for REALMstudios as we celebrate the completion of our work on the Hilton Park Precinct Masterplan in collaboration with @shape_urban who managed community and stakeholder engagement.

This project is all about transforming Hilton Park into a vibrant Community Parkland, enhancing sporting facilities while also delivering social and ecological benefits for everyone in Fremantle.

Through a collaborative process with the @cityoffremantle, community and local stakeholders, we’ve developed a comprehensive plan that addresses issues with competing space for formal sport & informal recreation, aging & gender equity and inaccessible and non-compliant facilities. The goal is to create a more inclusive, accessible, and sustainable space for all.

Excitingly, the Australian Government has now invested $3.75 million into the project, funding stage one of the renewal works in the northern part of the 19-hectare site in Beaconsfield.

With strong support from local clubs, key stakeholders, and the wider community, we’ve worked together to shape a Place Plan and Masterplan Report that reflects a shared vision for Hilton Park’s future. We’re excited to see this beloved space revitalised, offering improved sporting amenities and new opportunities for community connection and well-being.
