Planning for Country Commendation Award
The Wooditjup (Margaret River) Community Plan was recently recognised with a Commendation Award in the ‘Planning for Country’ category at the Planning Institute Australia WA 2022 Chapter Awards. The plan was result of close collaboration between REALMstudios, Undalup Association (Wadandi Traditional Owners), Noongar Artist Sandra Hill and The Shire of Augusta Margaret River. We kindly thank PlA and the jury for the acknowledgement of this work.
REALMstudios’ would like to deeply thank Wayne, Toni and Zach Webb, their extended family as well as Sandra Hill who were incredibly generous in sharing cultural knowledge and for supporting and contributing to this project so openly. We also acknowledge investment that the Shire of Augusta Margaret River has made over an extended period in developing positive relationships with TO’s of Wadandi country.
We look forward to seeing the project being delivered and guided by strong principles set out in the strategy for Designing with Country.
